“Sometimes the invitation isn’t to become someone new, but to begin again ~ exactly where you are.” ~ Pema Chodron
We are excited to share our new RCY book pick!! Start Where You Are, by Pema Chodron offers heartfelt, practical guidance for facing uncertainty and staying present through life’s inevitable challenges. For a yoga community, this book extends the practice beyond the mat, transforming awareness, acceptance, and curiosity into tools for living with greater courage and connection. If you are looking for something that gently challenges you to embrace life as it is, this book serves as a wonderful resource.
Join our yoga community as we read together and then gather for an inspiring workshop to explore its insights through heartfelt conversation, reflection, and practice. We’d love to have you with us.
Just like yoga, a good book is always better when shared with a group.
Amy invites you to “pull up a bolster” and join her for a heart-opening gathering that blends meaningful conversation with mindful practice and plenty of time for rest and reflection. We’ll begin by diving into an inspiring book discussion and follow it up with a nourishing yoga practice designed to embody and integrate the ideas and themes generated by our conversation. Connect and be inspired. Reading the book is encouraged but never required!!
“Books are the plane, and the train, and the road. They are the destination, and the journey. They are home.” – Anna Quindlen
