Join Amy for a nurturing workshop combining myofascial release and mindful yoga, designed especially for sensitive bodies and those who favor a gentler approach to body work.
Using a soft, squishy ball and a curiosity mindset, we will tap into our body’s innate messaging to guide us away from unhelpful pressure and towards sensation that feels “just right”. Think, “Goldilocks”!!
This explorative practice honors the body’s own inner knowing without force or strain, all the while honing both our proprioception (the ability to know where we are in space) and interoception (often referred to as “the hidden sense” because it reads our internal signals and is connected to emotions).
Yoga reminds us that every movement, every mindful breath and every transition is an invitation to come back to our own healing rhythm. This workshop is perfect for those experiencing persistent tension, fatigue, or anyone seeking a softer approach to self-care.

Amy Yapp, MA in Counseling Psychology, IAYT Yoga Therapist
Amy first discovered the healing nature of yoga as a young mother searching for something to help with a long list of persistent and confusing health challenges. Knowing she had found something very special, she could not help but share what she was learning with others and fell in love with teaching students of all ages who share her fascination with healing the body from the inside out.
Amy is a practicing yoga therapist and has been teaching yoga for over 20 years. She completed her 200-hour teacher training with Johnny Gillespie of Empowered Yoga/Balanced Athlete and is certified in both Energy Healing and myofascial release.
Amy specializes in Hypermobility and is a trainer in Susi Hately’s Yoga Therapy Certification program. She is passionate about helping her students discover their own unique path to wellness. Always focused on healing and prevention, fun and compassion are at the heart of her every connection.
