Haridas Sahaja, they/he, Yoga Instructor
Haridas grew up in Northern California, and they currently reside in Littleton with their daughter and husband. Haridas found their way to the yoga mat looking for a movement practice, though they were surprised to discover that in addition to movement, they would find presence and stillness both on and off the mat. It’s their greatest joy to share these gifts with their students, building a deep capacity for finding inner peace in a fast-paced, moving world. For this reason, classes with Haridas blend a meditative-like quality, stillness, breath, and energy work to promote deep relaxation.
Haridas completed their initial teacher training program and established their practice with breath-based hatha yoga, while their advanced training program deepened their practices of breath-based hatha yoga, yin yoga, pranayam (breath work), and meditation. Haridas holds additional training in sound healing, reiki, and restorative yoga. These practices continue to be a part of their own daily self-practice.
Haridas embodies a life of yoga off the mat as well through their studies of Advaita, Satsang, and the Bhakti, or devotional, yoga practices. They also enjoy facilitating devotional song circles, called Kirtan or Bhajans, in the greater Boston area where participants are called to tap into effortless joy.
