Saturday, January 27th @ 2 – 4pm

$35 Early-registration / $45 day of workshop
Have you ever heard these Sanskrit words in a yoga class and not been quite sure what you were supposed to do? Or perhaps the teacher cued the “locks” in the body, but you couldn’t quite find them?
In this workshop Lia will break down, and you’ll get to explore in your own body and practice:
•what the bandhas are
•the anatomy behind what the Yogis intuitively have been practicing for years.
•what prana is (energy, life force, chi, kundalini)
•the techniques of engaging and releasing and experience the effects of the body, both in the energetic and physical plane.
This is an all levels workshop as well as physical practice, however it is not recommended for students with high or low blood pressure, or those that are expecting.
Lia is a Massachusetts native who started practicing yoga as a teen. The peace, clarity, and confidence it brought her was always available in difficult times and she became very devoted to the practice. Lia’s passion for yoga and desire to help other’s find similar benefits inspired her to complete her teacher training in Fluid Yoga. She brings this passion to her students and offers a well-balanced class, welcoming to all with emphasis on mindfulness and breath.
