Rebecca Minor
Rebecca Minor is a therapist, author, educator, and yoga instructor whose teaching is rooted in the belief that healing happens when we feel safe enough to come home to ourselves.
Movement has always been one of Rebecca’s first languages. Before finding yoga, she spent years immersed in dance and theater, where she discovered the power of movement as a form of expression, connection, and storytelling. Yoga eventually became the place where those passions met—a practice that invited not only strength and flexibility, but embodiment, authenticity, and a deeper relationship with herself.
Rebecca completed her 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training at Revolution Community Yoga as a member of the studio’s first teacher training cohort. Returning to teach in the community that helped shape her practice feels especially meaningful.
Through her work in trauma therapy, Rebecca has developed a deep appreciation for the wisdom of the nervous system and the body’s remarkable capacity for healing. She believes yoga offers an opportunity not to override or “fix” ourselves, but to gently listen inward, cultivate safety, and expand our capacity to be present with whatever arises.
Her classes are grounding, accessible, and trauma-informed, emphasizing choice over perfection and curiosity over judgment. Rather than focusing on achieving the deepest expression of a pose, Rebecca invites students to explore what it feels like to move in ways that are supportive, sustainable, and true to their own bodies.
Rebecca believes the practice of yoga extends far beyond the mat. It is an invitation to live with greater awareness, authenticity, and compassion—for ourselves and for one another. Whether you’re stepping onto the mat for the first time or have been practicing for years, her hope is that you’ll leave feeling a little more grounded, a little more connected, and a little more at home in yourself.
