Julie McKay grew up and raised her family on the coast of Maine. She has enjoyed calling Stow home for a decade. Trained as a dancer, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Dance at Skidmore College. She enjoyed teaching dance to children for 20 years, and as she was approaching 40, she fell deeply in love with yoga. She completed her initial Yoga Teacher Training in 2012 from Yoga On York and her advanced training from Yoga Renew in 2023. Julie cultivates a safe and comfortable atmosphere for her students weaving in philosophy, encouragement, and humor!
