Nourish your body, mind, and spirit with this restorative yoga nidra class.
Allow Konnie Gillen to lead you through a series of restorative poses where your body will be supported completely by bolsters, blocks and blankets to allow you to relax and unwind from the stress of the outer world. Followed by a 40-minute guided yoga nidra practice where you will choose a sankalpa or intention. Yoga nidra can help improve sleep, increase creativity and lower stress and anxiety levels.

Konnie Gillen is a yoga and meditation enthusiast. She fell in love with yoga 14 years ago which has led her on a healing journey ever since. She received her 200 hour yoga certificate in February 2015 and her 300 hr certificate in April 2023 from Frog Pond Yoga Centre in Princeton MA. Recently, she completed an intense two year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield. Konnie is also a level II Reiki practitioner.
Konnie’s teaching style is gentle and breath focused, encouraging you to listen to your body and its inner wisdom. Konnie believes that practicing self compassion can heal you and change your relationship to yourself and with others. She has found yoga and pranayama (breathwork) practice to be key to a balanced nervous system. A year ago she stepped out of her comfort zone to try aerial yoga and loves the playful aspect of that practice as well as yoga on her mat. She loves spin classes and can be found at Cyclebar several times a week. She is an avid lover of nature and finds the power of the earth helps us remember who we really are, remembering our true nature is goodness. She is the mother of 3 children. She practices vipassana (mindfulness) meditation as well as Transcendental Meditation.
