High-energy barre movements kick off the class to awaken and challenge your body, followed by a soothing sound bath that guides you into deep relaxation.

What is a sound bath? It’s an immersive meditation using singing bowls, chimes, drums, gongs, and other instruments. You lie down, listen, and let gentle vibrations quiet the mind, release tension, and restore balance. No prior experience is necessary for either portion of this event—just bring yourself and enjoy the perfect mind-body self-care session!

Jen Walsh, Barre + Yoga Instructor

Jen Walsh, Barre + Yoga Instructor

Jen, a Miami native, came to Boston by way of Babson College, staying after graduating, despite the New England winters! Now that she has lived in MA longer than FL, she has come to appreciate all things winter, especially skiing. A stay-at-home mom to three children, a pup and two cats, Jen is also the business owner of Darling Be Mine, specializing in custom and personalized gifts. She is an active volunteer/member of the Acton-Boxborough Community, and a movement enthusiast.

Jen instantly fell in love with barre after taking her first class in 2017, finding the low impact, total body workout (to great music!) to be the perfect complement to her running and cycling classes. Shortly after that first class, she received her Modern Barre Certification and has been teaching barre since.

Always on a quest for personal growth, Jen completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training at Revolution Community Yoga in 2025. She believes yoga is an invitation to achieve overall wellness by nurturing both the internal world (thoughts, feelings, beliefs) and the external world (physical health, relationships, environment) to achieve overall wellness.

Jen’s mission as a fitness instructor is to inspire, challenge, encourage and educate. She is sincere, thoughtful, energetic and authentic, and shares these gifts by creating positive, upbeat, fun classes. Jen is passionate about the importance of leading an active and healthy lifestyle as a role model to her children, and believes there is a strong correlation between nutrition, exercise and happiness. She is grateful for the opportunity to share her love of and enthusiasm for barre and yoga with her clients.

Lauren Vingiano, Sound Practitioner

Lauren Vingiano, Sound Practitioner

Lauren Vingiano is a former technology executive and management consultant turned Certified Sound Practitioner and founder of LEV Ventures, where she’s reimagining sound healing as a mainstream tool for modern wellness. After attending Laura Hackel’s Crystal Bowl Sound Immersion Workshop at RCY in 2023, she was hooked. What began as a personal fascination with sound baths sparked her career pivot, and she now creates space for others to explore sound as a practical, evidence‑based way to reconnect with deeper purpose and well‑being.

Trained in sound therapy by the Complementary Medical Association and Reiki II with Karyn Force, Lauren has designed and led hundreds of customized sound and energy sessions for educators, caregivers, children, executives, and nonprofit organizations. She integrates crystal singing bowls, gongs, chimes, drums, and other instruments into immersive sonic journeys, and travels widely to learn and share sound practices in unique settings—from salt caves to corporate boardrooms. Lauren frequently collaborates with holistic health and movement practitioners to offer deeply restorative experiences.

A Sudbury native, Lauren returned to the Greater Boston Area in 2018 after living and working in New York City for many years. She now resides in Acton with her husband and two elementary‑school‑aged children. When she’s not working with sound, she enjoys hiking, biking, skiing, taking classes at RCY, cooking healthy meals, and spending time with family and friends. Lauren also serves on the boards of several nonprofit organizations close to her heart.

BENEFITS OF PRIVATE INSTRUCTION:

Individualized Attention
Private lessons allow your instructor to get to know you and your body better so you can create a practice that is tailored to your needs, and safe for your body.

Accelerated Learning
Receiving more detailed instruction means you may “progress” at a quicker rate in whatever way that is relevant to your practice.

Adaptable for Everyone
No matter what your skill level or abilities, your instructor will adapt your private sessions to meet you where you’re at so you can get the most out of your time together.
