Theresa’s deepest intention in teaching yoga is to expand minds, open hearts, and to be a catalyst for discovering the wisdom and wonder of an embodied life. She cross-pollinates from many traditions, weaving together various combinations of technique such as: soft somatic work, intentional sequencing, how to personalize practice, sustained holds in poses, rigorous vinyasa, therapeutics, yin yoga, breath-work, individualized alignment, anatomy study, wisdom teachings, meditation, chanting, and open exploration of physical and mental awareness.
Theresa is honored to be the first Prajna Yoga teacher under Tias Little and an endorsed Insight Yoga teacher and mentor in the Insight Yoga Institute under Sarah Powers. With over 3,500 hours teaching private sessions and over 35,000 group class and teacher training hours Theresa brings the highest quality and integrity to teaching yoga, worthy of its 3000+ years of history. Theresa is also a guest instructor for the Revolution Community Yoga 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training.
