Yoga for All is a two-day professional training designed to expand your skills, challenge your perspectives, and deepen your ability to make yoga a space where every student belongs. This immersive program blends practical teaching tools with courageous conversations about bias, accessibility, and the teacher’s role in fostering agency and empowerment.
Through guided practices, interactive discussions, and hands-on teaching labs, you’ll learn how to:
- Adapt poses for diverse bodies, abilities, and learning styles
- Teach with trauma-informed, neurodivergent-sensitive, and culturally aware approaches
- Recognize and interrupt personal and systemic bias in yoga spaces and beyond
- Navigate difficult conversations with humility, compassion, and confidence
- Manage your own nervous system when presented with new challenges
- And build class environments that honor autonomy and choice for every student
You’ll leave with concrete strategies for sequencing, cueing, and space setup, confidence in teaching mixed-level and adaptive classes, and a deeper understanding of the ethics and heart of yoga. Whether you teach in studios, schools, gyms, community or corporate spaces, you’ll gain the tools to create belonging and support so that every student can safely discover the wisdom that lives in their own body, mind, and spirit.
Program will involve a bit of homework and reflection between sessions. Teachers can receive 15 continuing education hours for this program.
