Patty Arnold came to yoga with a history that included a love for physical movement and mixed messages about performance, human bodies, and fitness. Growing up in the 1980’s and 90’s eras of Jane Fonda fitness, hard bodies and “No Pain, No Gain” it seemed simply exercising for the joy of movement was not attainable unless you were uncomfortable, sweaty, and intimidated, the practice of yoga changed all that. Patty’s yoga journey began unceremoniously in the early 2,000’s with an unfortunate class that was mysterious, difficult, and unbearable, it was almost the end and yet still there was something intriguing about what yoga had to offer the practitioner. In 2014, after tremendous life changes Patty tried again and under the tutelage of incredibly patient, wonderful teachers’ yoga then became accessible, challenging but rewarding, and ultimately her passion. In 2023, Patty completed a 200-hour YTT at Revolution Community Yoga & Fitness under the guidance of Cindy Boulter and is excited to invite all who are curious to enjoy what yoga has to offer in a safe, enjoyable, and accessible space. Her motto: All are welcome!

Zelam Dixit
I am Zelam Dixit, Yoga Instructor, and I am passionate about yoga and healthy lifestyle practices. I grew up in India. I have been practicing yoga on and off since my college days. For the past 4 years I have been practicing it regularly and getting benefits and lots of positivity from it. I completed my yoga teacher certifications with Yoga Vidya Gurukul and Ministry of AYUSH (Government of India), and I am now ready to share all my knowledge with my students to enhance their lifestyle and approach towards a beautiful life. I follow the Hatha Yoga discipline. It is a traditional yoga practice which helps you connect your body and mind. Regular practice of Hatha yoga improves your strength, flexibility, and balance. Some breathing techniques help to calm down your mind.

Chrisanne Douglas
Chrisanne has been a student of yoga for over 25 years. She first came to the practice seeking physical movement, and quickly embraced the benefits of using breath and movement as tools to calm the mind. She seeks to provide a warm and welcoming environment for students, and believes that yoga is for everyone. She completed her 200 hour teacher training at Revolution Community Yoga. She has completed additional training in chair yoga, yoga for osteoporosis, and is a certified grief educator.

Rachel Emery, PT, RYT 200
I started practicing yoga 12 years ago as a training adjunct to running and playing tennis. Seeing benefits in others parts of my life, I deepened my practice by adding meditation and breath work. The combination of these practices has had a profound effect on both my physical and mental health, and I get joy from sharing them with others, in hopes that they too will experience positive results. Rachel completed her 200 RYT at Revolution Community Yoga in May 2024. She also completed Chair Yoga teacher training in 2024. In addition, Rachel has over 25 years of experience as a physical therapist.

Beth Nordhausen
Beth has been practicing yoga for over 15 years, first as strictly a physical practice which added to her active lifestyle. However, very early on she learned that yoga was so much more than moving and stretching. She began to crave her mat as a way to deal with all the stresses and anxieties that life brings and began including breath, mindfulness and meditation in her practice. With a Bachelors degree in Human Nutrition and as a Registered nurse, wellness has always been part of her life and in recent years yoga has been an integral part of her own personal wellness journey. Learning to live yoga on and off the mat is a lifelong journey that Beth is on. Studying under Cindy Boulter at Revolution Community Yoga, Beth completed her 200hour YTT. Her mission as a yoga teacher is to help students care for their mind, body and spirit in a safe and nurturing environment by providing accessible sequences for all humans and all fitness levels. Beth’s goal is that her students will feel guided, comforted and supported as they practice their own personal yoga.

Robin Thompson
Years ago I came to yoga out of desperation for lower back pain that many doctors for many years were unable to remedy. I finally found relief through a wonderful yoga teacher and a regular yoga practice, and in the process, I also found strength, flexibility, mobility, mindfulness, peace and purpose. My practice led me to pursue teaching as a means of deepening my understanding of yoga as well as a way to pay it forward. I completed my 200-hour YTT certification with Cindy Boulter at Revolution Community Yoga in Acton in May 2023. I have also received certifications in Restorative Yoga and Somatic Movement with Theresa Murphy as well as Chair Yoga with Jen Mast and Amy Yapp in 2024. In my classes, I aim to combine creative sequencing with curiosity, inspiration, and playfulness to help create an experience that feeds your body, mind, and soul. My hope is that you step off the mat feeling nourished, refreshed, and balanced.

Emily Wheeler
Emily Wheeler is a teacher and student of Raja Ashtanga Yoga. This royal (Raja) path has eight limbs, including postures, breath, focus, and meditation. For Emily, yoga offers a comprehensive way of life whose center is calm. Her practice integrates body, mind, and spirit through breathwork and vinyasa flow. Off the mat, Emily is drawn to the outdoors and taking pictures. She likes the way photography, like yoga, helps her to be present and to pay attention.
