We are happy to introduce a new initiative at Revolution Community Yoga: Accessible Ayurveda!

Ayurveda is the traditional system of medicine from India, the most well-documented ancient holistic health care system which has developed for over 5,000 years. Yoga and Ayurveda are sister sciences born from the same Vedic knowledge systems. In keeping with RCY’s guiding principle, we are committing to provide the traditional knowledge from the root Vedic texts in a modern context.

Through Accessible Ayurveda, we are raising awareness in the community about the many benefits offered by an Ayurvedic approach to improving and maintaining health. Ayurveda shines brightest in its ability to support individuals with lifestyle concerns, both physical and mental.

Keep an eye out for our upcoming workshops, seminars, classes, and events. Accessible Ayurveda is here to support you in your journey to discovering personalized natural health solutions. Whether you wish to learn the foundational principles of Ayurveda, or focused topics like lifestyle, diet, routines, or cooking guidance for your specific situation, we look forward to meeting you at our next event at RCY.

For health consultations, lifestyle guidance, and personalized suggestions, our Ayurvedic Counselors are available to schedule one-on-one sessions.

Ashwini Kulkarni is a certified Holistic Ayurvedic Coach. She is currently pursuing her NAMA Ayurvedic Health Counselor certification from Kerala Ayurveda Academy, CA. Her academic background includes a Masters in Organic Chemistry, Bachelors in Physics, Chemistry, & Mathematics, and eight years of studying the Sanskrit language. To deepen her working knowledge and access to the authentic root texts of Ayurveda, she is currently pursuing a four-year program in Sanskrit education by Samskrita Bharati USA.

On a personal note: She is an Acton local! In her free time she loves painting, hiking, nature walks, long drives, and spending the day at the beach. Email:

Jean Popovich has been practicing the Art of Yoga for over fifteen years. She is also an Ayurveda Wellness Counsellor through Kerala Ayurveda Academy. Ayurveda is the healing aspects of Yoga beyond the physical tradition. Ayurveda focuses on bringing the body into balance through diet, yoga, breath control and meditation.

Jean’s down-to-earth, relaxed style conveys a deep understanding of these complex concepts while easily explaining all postures and techniques as well as their effects and contra indications.

Stress relief, better concentration, coordination and toning of muscles are only a few of the many benefits you will receive under Jean’s guidance.  Email:
