Amanda Pierce
Artist, forager, and ex-competitive cheerleader- Amanda has been practicing yoga for 8+ years. She found her way to the mat during high school in search of relief from severe anxiety. Since day one she has been amazed at the positive effects mindful meditation has on mental health. Yoga is an integral part of her spiritual journey, assisting in the process of going inward and integrating intuitive insight into daily life. Amanda’s mission is to help others befriend their minds and offer tools to create kind, curious, sustainable relationships with their inner selves. As an ex-competitive cheerleader, the physical side of Asana also won her heart with its combination of strength, flexibility, and shape making. During 2020 Amanda took her 200 YTT at Revolution Community Yoga with Cindy Boulter. Amanda strives to help students listen to their own unique bodies and offer movements that foster a connection to themselves, others, and the natural world. In her free time, she can be found foraging for mushrooms, volunteering, and flowing with her hula-hoop. Amanda graduated from her training in May and is eager to share what she has to offer with others.
