Celebrate the five senses in your body and cultivate awareness of your sixth sense, developing mindfulness, intuition and perception skills. In this 90 minute slow flow class, explore the senses of sight while practicing drishti (focused gaze), sound (crystal bowls), smell (aromatherapy), touch (Reiki) and taste (yummy treat :), ending with an extended savasana bathed in the healing sounds of crystal bowls. Theresa Hoberman will lead the yoga practice, Kim Blanc will play the crystal bowls, and Janet Boucher will provide Reiki assists (if desired).

Theresa Hoberman
In addition to being a Yoga instructor (RYT 500), Theresa is a Personal Trainer, Cycling instructor, TRX, Pilates Mat and Pilates Barre instructor.  She has been teaching for over 10 years, having switched careers from financial systems consulting when she became a mom. Theresa loves to help people feel good both physically and mentally, and incorporates her personal training and Pilates expertise into her yoga classes.  She lives in Bolton, MA and enjoys running, cycling, hiking and the beach.

Kim Blanc
Kim began practicing yoga in 2009.  In 2011, she earned her 200 hour yoga teacher certification from master teacher and author Rolf Gates.  She has a strong personal practice which includes both the physical and spiritual components of yoga.  Kim believes that anyone can do yoga and that everyone benefits, both physically and mentally, from a consistent practice.  She appreciates all styles of yoga, but is mostly drawn to the Ashtanga method, which creates strength and flexibility while cultivating a quiet and peaceful mind.  With a strong focus on alignment, Kim’s Vinyasa classes are firmly rooted in the Ashtanga tradition.  Kim’s workshops and  trainings include time spent with:  David Swenson, Rolf Gates, Richard Faulds, Jonathan Faust, Carolyn Sundeen, Jacqui Bonwell, Sharon Saltsberg, Krishna Das and Stephen Cope.  Kim is also a Level I & Level II Certified Usui Reiki Practitioner and loves the opportunity she has to help others heal their bodies and minds through the practice of yoga and meditation.

Janet Boucher, RYT 200, Reiki Master
I am passionate about sharing my yoga journey with others, it helps to calm my mind and strengthen my body, helping me through life challenges. I believe that everyone can do yoga and enjoy the many benefits. My classes are fun, lighthearted and full of exploration. I love the freedom that comes with yoga and the endless opportunities for self discovery. I completed my 200 YTT with Cindy Boulter in May 2019 and have studied Restorative and Yin Yoga with Theresa Murphy. When I am not practicing yoga I am spending time with my husband, 2 kids and our dog Bella. I am always seeking ways to learn something new through ongoing training, workshops, reading and personal practice.
