Chakra Balancing Practice
w/ Jen Mast
Sunday, April 3rd @ 6:30 – 8pm
Suggested Donation $15-20 (Cash or Check only – please bring with you to class)

Join Jen Mast for an All Levels Chakra balancing class which will include breath work, mudra, guided imagery, asana and meditation. The Sanskrit word chakra (also cakra) means “wheel” or “spinning wheel.” There are 7 main chakras, or energy systems in the body. These centers not only store our emotional, physical and spiritual experience, but they also house vital energy to nourish our lives. We are balanced when these centers are open, full and flowing.  When closed tight our bodies and minds can become distressed and imbalanced.  This class is designed to teach practical ways to improve the flow and balance of our life force energy.

Like many yogis, the first moment Jen Mast stepped onto a yoga mat, in 2005, changed her life. Very quickly, Jen fully immersed herself in her yoga practice, finding amazing benefits physically and mentally.  Jen vowed she would pay forward this amazing gift. In 2008, she brought yoga into the public school setting where she worked as a high school counselor. She witnessed firsthand the benefits of adding yoga into the Health and Wellness curriculum as well as in her one on one counseling sessions with her students. Jen is a RYT 200 hr. and she also received her Lifeforce Yoga® certification this past summer at Kripalu, training under Amy Weintraub, Yoga For Depression. Jen has a fun and uplifting teaching style that will leave you refreshed and enlightened.
