I began practicing yoga in 1992 when I was pregnant with my first child. Like many I was drawn to yoga initially for the physical aspects As I continued to practice I began to appreciate and look forward to the sense of peace and clarity I would feel during and after practice. Over the last 20 years I have practiced and studied many styles with many teachers; Shiva Rea, Doug Keller, Todd Norian, Natasha Rizopoulos, and Barbara Benagh to name a few. Over the years I’ve been focusing more on the therapeutic aspect of yoga and continue to advance my training in that area. I received my 200 hour training at Kripalu and my 300 hour with Shiva Rea and continue to study Therapeutics with Doug Keller. In addition to weekly yoga classes I run Ayurveda workshops with Emmie Stamel, therapeutic workshop with Linda Moran PT and nutrition and cleansing program with Lisa Mair.
Another passion is cooking nourishing foods. I was head chef at Shoals Marine lab from 2010 to 2016. I continue to share the benefits of healthy eating through cooking classes, private consultations and running seasonal cleanses through The Ultimate Rejuvenation Cleanse.
