Erica Magro
Erica Magro is a yoga teacher, musician, mom, wife, anatomy nerd, and lover of trees and all things nature. Not long after wandering into her first yoga class in 2006, she noticed a marked change in her way of being, finding calm and the space for quiet self-reflection. She welcomed this new sense of rhythm and balance. In 2010, she completed her 200hr RYT certification and in 2015, her 500hr, studying with friend and mentor Jacqui Bonwell. Drawn to the study of the body, the mechanics and all the parts, Erica developed an anatomy module and began co-facilitating 200hr RYT programs through Jacqui’s Sacred Seeds Yoga School.
In addition to teaching yoga, Erica has had the opportunity to weave her love for music with yoga. She believes music can be a powerful and beautiful compliment to one’s practice and often plays live for special acoustic classes. Her intention is to offer students a sense of rhythm accompanied by soothing sounds and vibrations. With her guitar in tow, Erica serenades classes across Greater Boston and beyond and believes that as we breathe space into our hearts, we create room for joy, peace, and the healing sound of song to enter.
