A 4-Week Series For Girls Ages 9 – 13

Empowering tweens to find tools for balancing mood & coping with stress through asana, pranayama & mindfulness.

In these workshops, girls will learn:• The effects stress and anxiety have on our bodies

• Through body scanning and journaling girls will learn to identify where they hold stress and tension in their own bodies.

• Practice yoga techniques including asana, pranayama, mindfulness and yoga Nidra that help to lower stress levels and the decrease the symptoms of stress, including sleep disturbances, anxiety, tension headaches, stomach aches, feelings of helplessness, body aches and pains and much more.

• Connect more deeply to self with empathy and compassion.

Jen MastJen Mast RYT-500, LICSW, Childlight Yoga Teen Certified, Yoga for Depression Level 1 (Amy Wientraub), Integrative Yoga Therapy Level 2, Functional Yoga Therapy Level 1, Anatomy Training Ray Mucci. Having worked in the public schools for over 15 years and witnessed first- hand the stressors our children face today, Jen is more passionate than ever to bring yoga to our youth. Learning yoga and mindfulness is a powerful tool that will carry into their adult life, with it comes resilience, balance, compassion and self- awareness. Something they can pull from whenever they need it.
