Meditation, Sound Journey and Peace Mantras
Metta Meditation is a heart-centered practice that cultivates inner peace and well-being. In this wonderful class, we will be exploring Metta Meditation through the channels of sound vibration experiencing vibrations of Ancient Himalayan Singing Bowls, Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls and other harmonious percussion instruments (Shruti, Temple bells, and voice) that will help to deepen your meditation experience.
Science tells us that we live in a ocean of vibration, and that everything that vibrates produces a sound and energy. The human body is composed of vibration and energy, and in Traditional Chinese Medicine every organ, bones, and tendons, and tissue carries a symphony of sound and resonance. Sound healing meditation is a practice of using mantra and sound frequencies as an efficient and effective way to restore balance in the physical body and nervous system. Meditation alone is very peaceful and calming, and when you add in sound waves and intention, it enhances a deep state of relaxation response and encourages well-being.
This class is a hands on experience, and is open to all levels of meditators. All you need is an open mind, heart, and your beloved self. To enhance your meditation experience, please wear comfortable clothing, cushion or mat, bring your favorite blanket, a pillow for your head and knees, and whatever helps to support your body to relax and let go in to the moment. Some people like to lie down and some enjoy sitting on a cushion or chair.
