Jess first came to the mat in college after fifteen years of ballet. She took a break after college but picked it back up again with a friend. In 2015, she completed her 200-hour teacher training at Waltham Yoga, and has been teaching ever since. She’s had opportunities to teach inside, outside, poolside, and online over the years. She also has experience teaching prenatal students. These days, her classes draw from a range of inspiration, depending on the needs of the day: power-inspired vinyasa, gently energizing, or more stretch-focused. All of her classes offer an option to add or reduce complexity and challenge, or to take rest.
Outside of yoga, Jess enjoys indoor rowing (when she’s done, anyway). Her other interests are baking, doing embroidery, Bruce Springsteen, and reading – she’ll happily talk your ear off about whatever she’s reading at the moment!
