Julie started practicing yoga more than 10 years ago as a way to work through unexplained illness. Yoga provided her a path towards healing that conventional medicine could not. In 2012, Julie celebrated her 30th birthday with a personal wellness challenge: 30 days of Hot Yoga at Baptiste Power Yoga in Cambridge, Ma. It was there that she completed her RYT-200 hr teacher training in 2015. She teaches alignment-based power Vinyasa flow. In class, she focuses on body awareness and finding the ideal position for each individual body. Once alignment is found, we move through Vinayasas lead by breath, each posture leading to the next, like a dance. And, just like a dancer, these movements help build a strong core and work deep through every fiber of your body.
