Katarina first discovered yoga when she stopped playing basketball in college. Katarina was very into basketball from an early age and was used to working out on the court and in the weight room with her team. Once she stopped playing competitive sports, she was having trouble finding a way to keep active, that she enjoyed. During this time, Katarina was going through a lot of college-related stress and changes that came along with it. She had read a lot about yoga being a great way to stay active and quiet the mind, so she signed up for a class with her mom one weekend. Katarina immediately fell in love with yoga and has been a dedicated yogi ever since. Katarina enjoys taking all kinds of yoga classes, from restorative to a heated power flow. Katarina completed her 200-hour teacher training under Cindy Boulter at Revolution Community Yoga. She is now not only committed to quieting her own mind both on and off the mat but is now driven to teach others to do the same. She teaches flow-based classes and focuses on working within range of motion and moving with the breath.
