I’ve always visualized the eight limbs of yoga as a benevolent octopus “reaching out to embrace all of you” by offering many paths to self-knowledge. I love to facilitate self-discovery and joy through movement and humor. My mission is to help people become more loving of themselves and their journey.

I believe in the power of meeting yourself where you are now, the magic of being able to express yourself through movement, and the deep knowledge that comes from movement as a spiritual practice. Through self-directed challenge and radical acceptance of our own edges and limitations, we can discover how expansive we really are.

I coach figure skating, teach yoga, and dance whenever possible. As a former competitive athlete who finds joy in movement, I have also struggled with my share of injuries and setbacks. Through yoga, I have found a harmonious balance by learning to meet my body where it is on any given day.

My favorite modalities are alignment-focused Hatha, Restorative Yoga, and Yoga Nidra. It was a deep honor and joy to be trained by Kamini Desai in the Amrit Method of Yoga Nidra. I integrate the wisdom of the yoga sutras into every aspect of my teaching, guiding students to connect more deeply with their bodies and minds. As I introduce the yoga sutras I draw from both traditional translations, as well as more modern variations. I find the juxtaposition of the two often leads to a deeper understanding of both the mystical and practical applications of the lessons the sutras offer.

The practice of working towards a sustainable mind-body is a holistic means of finding and being your best self. This is what I strive for and I invite you to join me!
