Having first tried yoga in 1995, and practiced when classes were convenient, Kathy started a regular yoga practice 2012, when Revolution Community Yoga opened in Acton. Her personal practice has focused on improving mobility and flexibility while maintaining focus and calm. As a student, Kathy enjoys exploring the mechanics of asanas and how yoga can be an oasis in our complicated lives. As a teacher, Kathy constructs accessible sequences that foster exploration, finding the balance of effort and ease, and presence in one’s body at the moment. Kathy has been encouraged in her yoga journey by Laraine Lippincott, Todd Norian and long-time teachers at Revolution. This journey includes completing yoga teacher training through the RYS 200 Yoga Alliance at Revolution Community Yoga in 2019. Kathy welcomes the opportunity to share yoga on or off the mat with you.
