Nicole Rivard
Nicole Rivard
Nicole has been practicing yoga since 2015. She started practicing more regularly when she moved to Acton and became a student at Revolution Community Yoga, where she still attends classes today.
Nicole is a lifelong athlete, playing collegiate field hockey and competing in marathons after graduating from Bentley University. She initially came to yoga to complement her running as she trained for the Boston Marathon. Yoga helped her maintain strength and gain flexibility. Although the physical aspects of yoga are still important to Nicole, the mental and emotional benefits of a regular practice keep her coming back.
She wants to make yoga accessible to all people and provide them with a foundation for a consistent practice at-home or in the studio. During class Nicole has students focus on breathing and moving with stability and ease. In addition, her goal is to help students develop the skills to remain grounded, present and resilient when life gets challenging off the yoga mat.
Nicole completed her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training with Cindy Boulter in May 2020.
