This workshop is for anyone looking to enjoy a Holiday Season without feeling bound by obligation or overwhelmed by “that which does not serve you.” Equal parts practical and philosophical, we will engage with a self-discovery process that allows you to clarify your own unique beliefs, values, and intentions and combine those intentions into a workable plan for the coming Holiday Season. Based in part on the workbook Unplug the Christmas Machine by Jo Robinson and Jean Coppock, we’ll weave in wisdom and insights from yoga philosophy and meditation techniques to help guide you into creating a celebration that is uniquely meaningful and memorable. This workshop is not specific to any single holiday or religious tradition–all are welcome!

Meaghan Brazell is a RYT-200 yoga teacher and NASM-certified personal trainer.  She completed her  200-hour yoga teacher training at Revolution Community Yoga in 2022 and received her Kids Yoga Teacher certification from Open Doors Yoga in 2013.  Meaghan began her yoga practice in 2012 and it soon became a way of life.  She knows first-hand how having a dedicated yoga practice can help to get us through life’s challenges.  She loves how an asana (physical) practice is a metaphor for life “off the mat,” teaching patience, flexibility, and learning to have comfort in one’s own strength.  Meaghan’s background in early education comes through in the humor and lightness she brings to her classes.
