Thrive & Balance • Mondays at 12pm with Kendra McCuine

Join Kendra for an engaging and supportive class designed to help you improve your balance and feel more confident and stable in your body. Kendra offers a unique mix of strength work, yoga, balance practice, and coordination exercises, and frequent choices allow you to create your perfect balance of challenge and ease. This class addresses all the components for steady movement—including strength, mobility, body awareness, and coordination. By training the whole body as an interconnected system, you’ll build a strong foundation for movement and support your independence and resilience. Regular balance training can help reduce the risk of falls, improve mobility, and make daily activities feel easier and more enjoyable. This class will help you stay strong, energized, active, and thriving, while having fun along the way!

Thrive, Roll & Flow • Tuesdays at 12pm with Jen Mast

Join Jen for a thoughtfully layered class, supported with a chair, that brings together a little bit of everything: movement, breath, balance, strength, stretching, and wellness education designed to help you move through life with greater ease and confidence. This unique class also incorporates Jen’s signature myofascial release techniques using therapy balls to support healthy fascia, improve mobility and range of motion, enhance proprioception, and ease everyday tension. Whether you’re looking to improve balance, build strength, reduce stiffness, reconnect with your body and with an amazing community, this class offers a welcoming and supportive space to move, learn, and thrive. Leave feeling more grounded, with a greater sense of ease and calm to carry into the rest of your day.

Thrive with Strong Bones • Wednesdays at 12pm with Deb Ward

Having strong bones as we age comes with a certain level of care and knowledge when it comes to practicing yoga. Debbie’s diagnosis of osteoporosis has been instrumental in shaping an approach to yoga that embraces safe modifications to care for the spine. Whether it is a modified pose, the use of a chair, or other props, it is important to be educated on how to keep your body safe. At the heart of every Thriving Bones class is a focus on building strength, supporting bone health, and improving balance. Through gentle, mindful movement and the thoughtful use of props, students develop confidence, stability, and greater body awareness. Classes emphasize safe modifications for people with osteopenia or osteoporosis while creating an environment where students can challenge themselves, have fun, and move without fear.

Thrive & Functional Strength • Thursdays at 12pm with Chrisanne Douglas

Find your balance between ease and effort in this empowering class designed for all fitness levels. Using the support of a chair as your anchor, you’ll flow through gentle yoga-inspired movements that improve flexibility, posture, balance, and body awareness while building functional strength with resistance bands and light weights.

Each class weaves together three elements:
Mindful Movement:
Breathe through seated twists, side stretches, and gentle spinal flows that release tension and increase range of motion without strain.
Functional Strength: Resistance bands and light hand weights bring purposeful challenge to your arms, shoulders, core, and legs—building the kind of strength that supports everyday activities like lifting, reaching, and climbing stairs.
Stability & Balance: Develop lower-body strength and proprioception, helping you move through your day with greater confidence and control.

Whether you’re recovering from injury, managing a chronic condition, looking for a low-impact workout, or simply exploring movement in a new way, this class meets you exactly where you are. No prior yoga experience is necessary. Modifications are always available, and every body is welcome.

Thrive & Revitalize • Fridays ONLINE ONLY at 12pm with Amy Yapp

Yoga reminds us that we need the “both/and” of life to feel our best…both mobility and stability…both movement and stillness…both effort and ease. Join Amy each Friday to allow the teachings from the past week to truly land in your body, mind and spirit with the help of a deeply restorative type of practice called Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra can feel like that place between asleep and awake, during which we are both conscious and deeply at peace. This class will take place via Zoom to allow you to really feel at home. We invite you to cozy into a favorite spot, wear your comfiest clothes and experience the healing nature of deliberate rest and revitalization (infused with “Vitamin J for Joy”, of course). Feel free to sit or even lie down during this class and allow for the practice of guided deliberate rest to work its quiet magic.

“A few lucky souls find a way to store up reservoirs of calm and content…and draw on them at later moments when the source isn’t there, but the need is great.”  ~ Rupert Brooke

JEN MAST • L.I.C.S.W., E-RYT 500 (IYT), Integrative Functional Yoga Therapist, ChildLight Teen Yoga®, Lifeforce Yoga®

Stepping onto the mat everyday has allowed me to stay grounded in the things that are truly important. Diagnosed with an autoimmune disease over a decade ago, my life took an unpredictable turn. Things that were easy became difficult and I felt as though I had lost part of myself. It was during this time that I deepened my spiritual practice. Yoga helped to heal the aches and pains that came with autoimmunity, it improved my energy, my mood and it allowed me to show up each day for my friends, loved ones and most importantly myself.

Yoga’s transformational abilities led me on a new path to become a yoga instructor combining my past work as a Licensed Social Worker with my new path in yoga therapy, functional movement through yoga and myofascial release. As we bring all levels of a person’s being into balance, true healing occurs. Moving beyond illness and discomfort, we are able to live life to our fullest expression.

Jen completed her 300-hour at Kripalu with Integrative Yoga Therapy (IYT) in 2016 where she trained under Joseph and Lillian LePage and Maria Mendola (Integrative Functional Yoga Therapy). Jen furthered her study and attended an intensive training with Maria in Tucson, learning various techniques for myofascial release, therapeutic movements and exercises to rebalance alignment and long held patterns. In 2018, Jen completed a weekend training in The Roll Model Method® and a Ball Rolling Techniques Workshop with David Vendetti – both for myofascial release.

Her extensive work with athletes, injuries and chronic illness in both group and private settings inform her teaching style which infuses safety, mindfulness, alignment principals, unique uses of props and functional therapeutic movements, and of course a lot of humor and fun! Through the pandemic, Jen has continued to train and deepen her own practice with Susi Hately, Functional Synergy™ and a Monthly Mentor Workshop with Jill Miller, Roll Model Method™.

DEB WARD • RYT-200

DEB WARD • RYT-200
Debbie is an RYT-200 yoga instructor and certified life coach whose classes encourage mindfulness while honoring the unique needs of each individual. Through thoughtful modifications and the creative use of props, she helps students care for their body, mind, and spirit.

Living with osteoporosis has shaped Debbie’s teaching philosophy, inspiring an approach that emphasizes safety, accessibility, and meeting students exactly where they are. She creates a supportive, welcoming environment where students can build strength, improve balance, cultivate resilience, and enhance their overall well-being—both on and off the mat.

CHRISANNE DOUGLAS

Chrisanne has been a student of yoga for over 25 years. She wandered into her first yoga class not knowing what to expect, but, like many before her, she discovered that yoga goes far beyond the physical practice. She quickly embraced the benefits of using breath and movement to calm the mind.

Her classes focus on moving with intention, staying connected to the breath, and using poses as tools rather than goals – helping students cultivate strength and stability without chasing perfection. Her goal is simple: that students leave class feeling better than when they walked in the door.

She completed her 200 hour teacher training at Revolution Community Yoga. She has completed additional training in yoga for osteoporosis, chair yoga, and is a certified grief educator.

Amy is a practicing yoga therapist and has been teaching yoga for over 20 years. She completed an advanced study with Anne Douglas of Whisper Within in 2022 and is certified to teach RRSM (Rest and Relaxation Sleep Meditation), a form of Yoga Nidra based on eight healing pathways.
