Have you hit that time of the day with your toddler? You know the one, just before dinner when everything gets a little chaotic? We’ve got you covered! Bring your toddler to yoga! Toddler & Me Yoga offers toddlers and caregivers time to explore yoga and movement together through mindful themes, yoga poses, partner poses, songs, and a story. It’s the perfect way to release some energy, spend screen-free time together, and create a life-long love of movement, breath, and caring for self and others. This class is best for walking toddlers ages 2 to 3 years. Children are welcome to bring or borrow a stuffy for relaxation at the end of class.

(Please note that while we understand that toddlers don’t always stay on their mats, safety is our first priority. Please accompany your child should they leave their mats.)

Valerie Kacian
Valerie started her yoga practice in 2001 shortly after the birth of her daughter. Initially seeking balance to round out a heavy cardio fitness routine, she received more gifts from the practice than she could ever imagined. It was from day one on the mat that she knew she would teach and share these gifts with others. She has a special interest in working with students within their own range of motion tapping into pure, functional movement in the body. Valerie believes that anyone can practice and experience the great benefits of yoga. She uses a whole-hearted approach to encourage her students to connect deeply to movement within their own bodies. Valerie teaches prenatal yoga, Hatha yoga, Baby & Me Yoga, vinyasa flow, and restorative. Valerie completed her 200-hour YTT in May, 2018 with Cindy Boulter and completed prenatal training in April, 2018 with Lorraine Shedoudi at Revolution Community Yoga. Additional training includes Reiki I, Trauma-Informed Teacher Training, Restorative Teacher Training, and various workshops addressing back and pelvic health.  In 2019 she continues her studies undergoing a six-month apprenticeship with Jacqui Bonwell, as well as advanced prenatal teacher training at Down Under School of Yoga.
