Yoga with your Tot is a supportive, fun-loving, and active yoga class…

For toddlers with their caregiver (caregivers of all types, shapes and sizes invited). Toddlers who are a bit younger or older are welcome too, with an understanding that you may need to be a bit flexible and adaptive in how your child may participate in the class:)

Yoga Benefits for Toddlers:

  • Deepen the parent/child bond
  • Improve body-awareness
  • Playfully relieve stress and frustration
  • Increase your child’s attention span
  • Provide an outlet for social interaction
  • Nurture self-esteem and creativity

Designed for crawlers to 24 months, this class is all about your new mover. As your child’s mobility increases, classes offer toddler appropriate poses that encourage and support their physical abilities and explorations. We will learn yoga inspired poses, songs, and games while they explore new movement and social skills. Toddlers become more confident in their moving bodies as they practice yoga both in and out of class. During a Yoga class, crawlers and walkers playfully practice yoga postures while they are standing, sitting up, walking, and jumping. Parents also get to do a little yoga, but no yoga experience is required.  This class will provide caregivers with a space to breathe and get a few stretches in while connecting in positive and supportive community with other local families. A perfect opportunity to have structured time to simply delight in movement and connection with your little one.

What to Bring/Wear:
Please dress yourself and your toddler comfortably. Yoga mats are not used for this class.
