Experience harmony and balance through this mindful practice designed to reduce stress, release tension and promote relaxation. Emphasis on self-awareness, breath, and honoring the body. No Yoga experience is required. Ideal for beginners, and/or those with injuries.

Deirdre McWade
Deirdre discovered Yoga at Baron Baptiste’s Power Yoga institute in early 2000 and has had some form of practice since then. She’s found Yoga to be an essential part of her fitness and wellness routine and hopes that others will benefit from her classes and passion for movement. Recently, Deirdre discovered meditation and found joy in slowing down and being more conscious and mindful. She sprinkles a little mindfulness into all her yoga classes.

She enjoys learning more about the connection of Mind and Body, and movement therapy for Chronic Pain and Stress management. Off the mat, she’s a Mom who enjoys gardening, fitness, reading and spending time with friends and family.

Deirdre completed a 200 Hour Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher training at Revolution Community Yoga in Acton. She studied under Cindy Boulter, who’s guidance, knowledge and ongoing support have been fantastic. Deirdre has also studied Backbends and Inversions with Theresa Murphy, Chakra Balancing with Jacquie Bonwell, and Yoga Assists with Jay Atwi. In addition to Yoga Anatomy’s curriculum with Amy Matthews and Leslie Kaminoff, Deirdre is also studies Biomechanics, Anatomy and Kinesiology with Susi Hately.
