$105 Registration for series / $40 per class drop-in

Are new to yoga? Would you like to attend a class in a yoga studio, but feel a little nervous about what to expect? This workshop is for you! We will prepare you to walk into any yoga class and feel at ease. You will learn the fundamentals of Vinyasa yoga (including yogic breath and safe alignment) and how to ease yourself into the flow of any class.

Think you’re not flexible or strong enough for yoga? This workshop is for you! Everyone has the ability to build strength and flexibility. Greater strength and flexibility only come with practice, and this workshop will help you in taking the first steps on that path.

You will also learn that the benefits of yoga go far beyond strength and flexibility. The practice of yoga allows you to explore mindfulness, present moment awareness, peace and stillness. Practice letting go of the outside world and turn your attention within, you’ll become your own best teacher and discover the truth of who you really are.

“Your best teacher is the one who sings and dances in your heart.”

Kim Blanc
Kim began practicing yoga in 2009. In 2011, she earned her 200-hour yoga teacher certification from master teacher and author Rolf Gates. She has a strong personal practice which includes both the physical and spiritual components of yoga. Kim believes that anyone can do yoga and that everyone benefits, both physically and mentally, from a consistent practice. She appreciates all styles of yoga, but is mostly drawn to the Ashtanga method, which creates strength and flexibility while cultivating a quiet and peaceful mind. With a strong focus on alignment, Kim’s Vinyasa classes are firmly rooted in the Ashtanga tradition. Kim’s workshops and trainings include time spent with: David Swenson, Rolf Gates, Richard Faulds, Jonathan Faust, Carolyn Sundeen, Jacqui Bonwell, Sharon Saltsberg, Krishna Das and Stephen Cope. Kim is also a Level I & Level II Certified Usui Reiki Practitioner and loves the opportunity she has to help others heal their bodies and minds through the practice of yoga and meditation.
