Balance Your Energy & Balance Your Life

In this workshop series, we will practice Yin Yoga and learn introductory meditation techniques.
In Chinese medicine, Energy or Chi is split into two complimentary polarities, Yin and Yang. Our fast paced lives and activities can be heavily Yang, which can lead to burnout, stress, and a depletion of Chi. Yin Yoga contributes to the balancing of Energy/Chi throughout the body so we can be more vibrant and alive with increased pliancy in the joints and we can learn to be calm and still. Each week we will learn meditation techniques and practice a different Yin Sequence.
Cindy Boulter, BSc., ERYT 200, ERYT 500, Yoga Therapeutics
Cindy is committed to being a life long student of yoga and is a seeker of knowledge. She has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years and has been teaching Yoga since 2003. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences, and has studied extensively with numerous teachers, completing over 1500 hours of training, including training with Dr. Bo Forbes and most recently training with Sarah Powers in Yin Yoga and meditation in Thailand. She also has assisted and taught classes at Kripalu for Bo’s sessions on Yoga for Anxiety and Depression. Cindy’s seminars and workshops on making the most of life through communication, yoga and fitness have been presented throughout Canada, the US and Japan, and she has taught 3 years of 200 Hour Teacher Trainings. She is eternally grateful for all the amazing teachers and students she has been so fortunate to study with.
