I have been practicing yoga for over 20 years. My practice has seen me through many hard times, happy times and not so eventful times. Through yoga I have learned the art of svadhyaya (self-study), allowing me to adapt to an ever-changing mind and body. I have an educational background in School Counseling and have always been drawn to working with at-risk and special populations. Getting trained in the Voice Color© yoga methodology was a no brainer. I have been amazed at the affect yoga can have on individuals that are on the spectrum. What has left the biggest impression on me has been the effect a consistent mindfulness and meditation practice has on calming a mind that is in constant motion.
