Focus on re-cultivating a sense of equilibrium in the mind and body after pregnancy while meeting new friends with this 60-minute community class designed just for moms! Class starts with peer check-in and support followed by 35 minutes of gentle yoga and 15 minutes of restorative practice. We’ll focus on regaining strength, flexibility and stability throughout the entire body and a sense of peace in the mind while supporting each other as a community of mothers with young children. Suggested period is 6 weeks to 18 months postpartum but all mothers are welcome if medically cleared by their provider.

Megan Peculis

Megan has been practicing yoga since 2008 and has always been passionate about health, wellness, and the study of human nature. After completing a Bachelor’s in Psychology, she focused her attention on caring for her growing family, now quite full with four kids. She’s found a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and understanding through being a mother that quickly turned her to the emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of yoga. In 2021, Megan completed her 200-hr teacher training with lead trainer Cindy Boulter, and completed her 85-hr prenatal training with Down Under School of Yoga. She continues to study yoga to work towards her 500-hr teacher training under teacher Michelle Young. Yoga, to Megan, is so much more than the physical time spent on the mat but how that practice translates to how each of us live our daily lives. Learning more about oneself through the ancient yet timeless philosophy of yoga is the center of her practice and goal as both a practitioner and a teacher.
