Last Sunday, April 29th a group of Revolution Community Yoga yogis participated in the 8th annual Yoga Reaches Out Yogathon at Gillette Stadium. Together we practiced yoga, shared compassion and kindness – all while raising $8,480 (so far) to benefit Boston Children’s Hospital Wellness Center. But you don’t have to participate in a yogathon or any kind of “thon” to make a difference in someone else’s life. This was shared with us last week by out friend Jacqui Bonwell…

Yoga Reaches Out harnesses the incredible power of our community to help families and sick children. When we come to our mats together, we are one breath away from changing the world. Founded by Sarah Gardner and now in its eighth year, the mission of Yoga Reaches Out is to bring people together for a day of selfless service or “seva” that benefits children. Yoga instructors from New England and around the globe come together to teach the inspirational and empowering day-long gathering.
